Fixing the ethernet at ASRock B460M PRO4 Intel MATX

After spending the whole weekend trying to figure out why the ethernet of my new motherboard didn't work thanks to a post of this awsome fella: https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/b460m-pro4-ethernet-port-cannot-start-code-10.3626496/ I got it to work.

[THE FIX]

There was a mainboard mount screw form the pc case under my south bridge which produced a short circuit and disabled the ethernet port.

Also, I have seen people disabling the wake-on-lan option inside the bios to get the ethernet to work.
